I stepped outside of my villa just as the sun began to ascend earth’s horizon, casting a beautiful golden sheen on the lush foliage in the Balinese jungle. I was immediately drawn to this particular flower, set against the contrasted background, drops of dew yet to evaporate in the early morning hours. It was a brief yet profound reminder that light exists in all places, if only we choose to see it.
